Unlock Phone

Hello

I'm trying to unlock my device but I already cancelled my AT and T account a few months ago.

When I try to unlock it, the website tells me that I have a bill unpaid, and that's not the case.

I went on my client account and it says that the account was closes and there's no bill left.

How can I do to unlock it ?

Thanks

Call AT&T and find out if you do indeed owe them anything.

Depending on how long ago you switched service providers and canceled service, you may have had a bill that after 60 days would have been sent to collections.

Thanks for your message. I had closed my account more than 60 days ago, and when I'm going on my account, it clearly said : no bills left.

If the website is telling you that you have an unpaid bill, but your client account says that your account is closed and there's no bill left, there might be an error in the system.

One thing you can do is to contact AT&T's customer support and explain the situation to them. They should be able to look into your account and see if there's any outstanding balance that needs to be paid or if there's an error in their system. You can also ask them to provide you with specific instructions on how to unlock your device without encountering any issues.

Another option is to visit an AT&T store and speak with a representative in person. They may be able to assist you with unlocking your device and resolving any billing issues that may be preventing you from doing so.

In any case, it's important to have all relevant account information and documentation on hand when you contact customer support or visit an AT&T store. This will help expedite the process and ensure that you get the assistance you need to unlock your device as soon as possible.
