Unlock code won't work.

I asked At&t for an unlock code so I may use my S3 with another carrier. That code won't work. What do I do now?

Hello @Narlnme16,

 

Welcome to the Community Forums.  I can understand how troubling it is not being able to unlock your device, even with the unlock code.  I would be happy to help.

 

Please follow the instructions listed in this helpful file.  Make sure you are entering in the code exactly.  Please note, five unsuccessful unlock attempts permanently locks the device to the AT&T network.

 

If you continue having problems unlocking the device other users with the Galaxy S3 have found success using the solution posted in a previous thread.  In the first post click on the green box which says Solved! Go to Solution

I have unlock problem with Samsung S7. I try to follow your procdure, entered the dial number you provided, I am getting diffent menu. I don't know how to proceed.

I am not sure if someone can help.

I received an unlock code for my samsung galaxy s8 but it doesn't work. I followed the instructions and put in another carrier sim card and nothing comes up for me to place the unlock code.

 Hi! 

I'm having the same problem with my S8.  It tells me my unlock code is incorrect, and if I am only allowed 5 incorrect password attempts, I have one left, so I need to make that attempt the correct one. 

I did not see the S8 mentioned specifically on the instruction page that is linked to someone else's comment in here, but if I have to go off of the "All other Samsung devices" instruction, then I have already done what they say. 

The code from AT&T is just not working for me.  Can anyone tell me what they did to get there's to work?

Seems like I'm not the only one with unlocking issues. What do I do if ATT keep's sending the wrong network unlock code? I've already escalated the case 4 times and they keep sending me the same incorrect unlock code and I'm stuck in this loop. Phones been paid off close to 3 weeks ago and have been unable to use my phone because of this issue.
