Text messages not being received

Since the middle of July, I have more than a dozen people telling me they are not receiving my text messages. It is hit or miss, I don't seem to be in a particular location when it happens. It happens frequently when sending to more than one person, and someone in the group text Will comment that they don't understand what others are responding to because they didn't receive the text. But it also happens in texts sent to individuals.

I have a Galaxy S 9 and I am using the messenger app.

We want to help with you messaging issues.

Your Samsung Galaxy S9 came pre-loaded with the AT&T Device Help app. The preloaded AT&T Device Help app will guide you step-by-step through common questions with one-button fixes, tutorials, and videos.

Go ahead and launch the app from the AT&T app folder and allow the app to run tests to isolate your messaging issues. If there is an issue with your device, an alert will be displayed within the topic tile.

Thank you for info. I ran this program a week or so ago - it was more of a
"is app working correctly and here's tips for improvement" type thing
rather than a solution.

I have spent time on phone with AT&T help, who have reset my network
repeatedly with no luck. There has to be a solution.

Same here but its S8+ I never had this problem with Verizon but once we switched to at&t it has.been hit or miss if people are going to get my texts . especially if it's a group message or a picture. It has to be a network issue

I have the same problem with 3 different phones.  never had this problem with Verizon.  The problem started as soon as I switched to ATT...  S6, S7, Moto G5+

I was actually able to figure it out. I had to add 1 + the area code to the
contacts. I noticed that the contacts that did not have the area code were
not getting the messages. When I changed it , it started working fine.
