Stolen device
My cell was stolen tonight. I can only contact AT&T through chat (by using an older cell) and the system will not let me block my cell, it keeps trying to send a verification code to my stolen device to prove its me. What am I supposed to do now?

Hello, @MariermG! We can help you get a verification code that is not sent to the stolen device.
We recommend you visit your nearest AT&T Corporate Store and present your valid government-issued photo ID, which includes a driver's license, or even a passport.
To find the AT&T Corporate Store near you, simply visit the AT&T Store Locator, select FILTER, then Company Owned Stores. The representatives at the store should be able to assist you with resetting your PIN so that you can order a replacement phone.
Check out the tips and instructions under DETAILED INFO when you visit Replace a lost or stolen phone or device. These steps are essential to take when replacing your stolen device.
We hope this information is helpful, and please let us know if you have any additional questions.
Thank you for reaching out to the AT&T Community Forums!

You have to call AT&T from another phone and they're going to want to know what your security pin code is. If you don't know your PIN code AT&T cannot Blacklist your phone. You could also use someone else's phone to sign into your Google or iTunes account and block your phone that way. It doesn't black list it but it locks and locates the phone so no one can use it
