Software updates on Galaxy S8

I just recently purchased a Samsung Galaxy S8+ with and round version 7.0. While checking for updates, it says an update to 8.0 is available. However, it will download the update and when gets to 24% on the installation, it will stall, reboot, then a message says installation interrupted and installation could not be completed. Any help appreciated.

Thank you for reaching out to us today. We'll be happy to help you with the software update. 

 

The two main reasons for this error are that the device isn't on a Wifi connection or that there's less than 3 GB of memory remaining. If you are on Wifi and have sufficient memory, then you can try factory resetting the device. Be sure to back up ALL files and data that you would want to keep and then follow the directions given in the Device How-To guide.

So I am actually still having that problem as well and nothing has been able to fix it even after a factory reset.
