All right I used to different browser and was able to find the phone. That particular phone is a 3-g only phone and it only has one 3-g band for AT&T. That means you won't get LTE and you shouldn't get any service at all because that phone should not be able to be activated. AT&T is in the process of shutting down its 3-g Network. Band five is being actively repurposed everywhere. It just so happens that band 5 is the only 3-g band that that phone has.

Return the phone and go to Best Buy. You can buy something off the Best Buy Shelf that is unlocked for AT&T

Hey there @Primalstarchaser!

There are a couple of steps you can take to try to resolve your mobile data experience. Allow us to assist.

  • Power your device off and after several seconds power it on again. This action reestablishes a connection to your mobile network.
  • Remove and reinsert your SIM card. At times the card can become loose and require reinserting, or if damaged, needs replacing.
  • Make sure you haven't exceeded your limit. Navigate to Settings > Data usage > and your limit should display from there.

For quick updates on remaining data and texting balances in your current bill period, text *3282# (*DATA#) for English, or *3286# (*DATO#) for Spanish. Also, t's possible to save data by using Wi-Fi, blocking data on a device, and more. Learn more about how to manage your data usage.

Let us know how this worked for you.

I have tried all of the above and it still hasn't changed. If it helps this Sim was activated in another phone.

And what happened when it was in the other phone?

Any error messages?

What make and model are both phones?

I dropped it a couple of times and the screen started to glitch out.

I believe that they are a BLU G5 and a APOBOB MATE 30

Not enough information.  Please answer all my previous questions.
and I see no phone called a Apobob mate 30.   The onky mate 30 is a Huawei.  You cant use a Huawei on any US carrier.  Its a banned brand, so data is blocked.

No idea what it is.  It is not listed anywhere on the internet.  Pretty easy to say you have a phone that will not work on AT&T.    Get something else.

Between the Chinese characters and it's saying 3-g on the back of the phone oh, this is a no-brainer. This phone was not meant to work in the United States and it will certainly not work on AT&T if it is a 3-g only phone

The Blu G5 is a US warranty phone, with LTE bands for AT&T, of course that one works.

That other phone will not.  Return it
