Samsung Note 8 Oreo Problem: Ringtone sets to silent
Since updating to Oreo, my Note 8 will not keep a ringtone. Something is setting it to silent and I am missing calls. I change the ringtone to one of the stock ringtones, but it always goes back to silent. Sometimes after a few minutes, other times after an hour or so. Does anyone know of a fix, or when the next Oreo (Android 8.0.0) will be available, hopefully with big fixes.

Hello @Gloworm,
I am very sorry to hear of the issues with your ringtone after the newest update! I definitely understand the concern and I would be more than happy to provide some assistance with this!
A common resolution to software update issues is going to be a factory reset. This will insure the newest update is properly loaded on to the device. We also have a wonderful resource online which can take you step by step through testing your device. Please access our Troubleshoot & Resolve Tool to be taken through.
I hope this helps! Please let us know if you have any further questions or concerns. Have a great day!

ATT Cares, I am sorry to say that a facrtory reset IS NOT A SOLUTION, how you expect us to reset a phone, backup everything, reinstall everything you have in it, when YOU pushed the upgrade into our phones.
It is a real problem, it IS NOT isolated.
As soon as the upgrade came in to both my Galaxy S7, we got the same idiotic problem.
It is NOT too many apps
It is NOT we are dumb
It IS the upgrade you pushed.
Get on it, solve the problem, do not give us your easy shortcut!
