Samsung Galaxy S4 Baseband I337UCUAMF3 never updates past 4.2.2

Hello,

Can someone please explain, and give the whole truth, on why my phone never gets any updates past 4.2.2? I have read many things and it seems that, besides the obvious that AT&T is the worst at getting phone upgrades, once you get AMF3 you are stuck with it at 4.2.2 because it is know that other versions have issues.

I have yet to understand why it is so difficult to get a new version.  I am almost to the point of doing a factory reset and then attempting the upgrade again. If that does not work I will either place a custome rom on the phone or just wait for the contract to be up and leave AT&T and save me some money with another company.

Hi! @xchuck  Thanks for posting your concerns about  your OS.

You should absolutely be able to update the OS on your S4 (SGH-i337) to 4.4.4. please send us a Private Message with the following information so we can assist with this:

Your cellular phone number or account number

Your first and last name as it appears on the account

An alternate contact number

The best date and time to reach you

Thanks!

I do not want to reset my phone, I will keep it the way it is and wait for my contract to be up and will deal with things then.

So if you can give me some sort of direction to go in because talking  has not yet done anything well for me. I am still in the same boat.

so I still see that no one can give me any news on the base band that I have.  How do you sell a phone that can't get any updates? Please give me a reason why when I see the update on the boards it lists 2 other basebands and not mine. Is there a reason for this?

take the phone to a samsung experience center inside best buy and have them flash the phone for you.  Disclaimer make sure you back up your data.
