Same old issue year after year...slow speed on mobile data.
The problem continues in my house. The data speed test from ATT shows it at less than 2g level not the 4G Lte I am paying for. Has been this way since day one. Should I ask for some sort of refund? My two device bill is over $80 per month. Has anyone had the same problem, switched to another Cell company and solved the problem? I have been told by ATT over many times the problem was fixed but it was not. What kind of foolish deception is that? Either it works or it does not. It has not since I joined the Smart Phone league and here we are waiting for 5G that I don't believe will come here in my lifetime and I'm betting the rates on that will be shockingly high.

So why are you still a customer? No carrier guarantees coverage or download speeds at any specific location, especially inside your house. If ATT is not providing the service you need where you need it, then you should find a carrier that does. Also, you aren’t paying for any specific data speed. You won’t be getting any refunds.

This area is not hilly but obviously needs either more energy to the towers or more towers. Why would ATT allow a tech on chat boost my signal allowing all services to work for a few hours then it goes back to a slow speed. That proves I can get the fast signal in my house yet someone on the turn it up button is keeping it from happening for whatever the reason I will never know.
The crazy all the sudden have high speed mobile data for an hour or maybe even a day has happened several times then right back super slow. Maybe you have some advice on that phenomena. Like Elmer Fudd, I want to say, “Something scwooey goin on around here.
Yes I pay for a service I do not get, yet maps, techs, etc. say I should. I am not alone but more vocal here than most maybe.

That’s up to you. But if you don’t switch, for whatever reasons, you can’t complain. It’s a self inflicted wound.
If you keep paying for service you aren’t happy with, it’s not at&t’s Fault, they’re happpy to take your money.

Are you using wifi calling? Or consider putting in a cellular booster? Cell booster just need electricity to amplify signal. It may not increase data speed, but calls will work.
