Poor Signal for Galaxy S8 Fix?

I just got a Samsung galaxy s8 2 weeks ago and apparently I've been missing a lot of calls. When I am on the phone the person sounds warped and slow. I tried a suggested fix or turning off the enhanced LTE settings but that isn' working. Also tried Wi-Fi calling. Any other fixes? Please help!

Hello @Jtwin92,

I certainly can understand your desire to retrieve consistent services. I would be more than happy to address these issues and find the best possible option!

We have our AT&T Mark the spot application you can download to your device. This will help notify the networking team of an issue in your area. You can download this application on any of the global markets.

Another great tool we offer to help troubleshoot all errors is out Device Support Center. We have many networking tips and tricks which can benefit you. Log in, select your device and there is a Fix It option located on the web pages device screen.

If these issues still occur I would love to take a deeper look into some options for you. If you can please message us @ATTCares, I would be happy to reach out to you and locate what may be occurring with your device. We can work together to best troubleshoot this!

Have a wonderful day!

I am on my final and 3rd S8 plus due to mishaps. All of them have had 1 bar or less in 90 percent of Stockton, CA. I've been on with ATT tech support and they couldn't figure it out after an hour of trying on the  phone. The only solution you have offered is for me to pay 200 dollars for a signal booster! I paid 850 for the phone originally and 200 each insurance claim. So I'm in 1200 bucks not including my monthly bill for WORKING SERVICE. I refuse to pay you more for an issue that should not exist.  This is my last ditch effort before I leave ATT all together. Can I get some help please?

What the?  Unless you are passed the 1 year warranty, a defective phone is not an insurance claim.

Insurance is for broken phones, damage, stolen, lost, not defects from Samsung.

And if your replacement via insurance is faulty, it’s under warranty for the original 1 year or an extra 90 days.

Who the heck told you to make repeated insurance claims?

And if it’s a problem at home, Wifi calling would resolve connection through your home internet.

A signal booster microcell is what I assumed was mentioned.  You don’t need one.  Wifi calling has replaced it.

-##The first two had the same signal issue, but I am a welder and both
screens were damaged at work, hence the insurance. This one, is a month old
with the same issues and it isn't only at home, it's at work, at my gfs
house, all over the city. Very spotty. Internet just doesn't work more than
half the time. My gfs iphone always has full bars. I don't like apple, just
a comparison as we are on the same plan. I've had the first Galaxy, S3, S6
active, S7, and all were great. This is by far the worst of the series and
its battery performance is mediocre compared to the s7. My son got the Note
8 and to me it seems like that is the S8 plus with all the issues ironed
out.
