Pixel 7 pro will not update

My pixel 7 pro hasn't updated in 5 months as of posting this. I got the may update and then haven't gotten an update since (it's November as of posting). I saw on the website it says the latest release is may 2023 but there are plenty of others with newer updates. Any fix other than side loading?

Well if it's November where you are, please tell us the secret of time travel because no one else has been able to figure it out. It's October 2nd where I am

If the website says the latest release is May of 2023, then your phone is correct.

There may be a newer update coming out, but AT&T does not announce new updates prior to their release

Hi @Seth_Galvan, we're here to help you.

To answer your question, the information updated on the website says the latest release is May 2023, then your phone is correct, but AT&T does not announce new updates.

Please refer to the link for more details.

Sorry I meant October lol. End of the month and I was tired when I posted lol. Updates come out every month on unlocked phones but yet att locked phones will not update because of att. A Google rep that works with my store even confirmed it so it's definitely att's side that is the issue, especially if the att website says may 2023

The only trick I can think of besides side-loading is to boot the phone without the SIM and the do a manual software update check (Settings -> System -> System update, then tap the button). It works for unbranded Pixels that normally pick up carrier-specific builds, no idea if it'll work for the AT&T-branded one. But at this point I'd certainly side-load as you'll get Android 14 that way.

Hello @Seth_Galvan, thank you for contacting AT&T Community Forums.

We'd be glad to provide the available options for you.

As per the update received, the information is already updated on the website, the latest release is May 2023, the AT&T does not announce any new updates yet.

Please go through with the article to know more about this deal- Google Pixel 7 (GQML3) - Software Update for Google Pixel 7 (GQML3) - AT&T (att.com).

Hope this helps!

Seth,

The latest Android OS update for the Pixel 7 Pro is October 2023.  That said, the October update is Android 14, which could likely explain AT&T holding off until they've checked it all out.  That said, that certainly wouldn't explain why AT&T hasn't allowed an update for the Pixel 7 Pro since May which, at least in my opinion, is unconscionable.

I suggest you try the Google Pixel Update and Software Repair Tool:

It should guide you through the process.
