Pics/vids won't play and can't be found (Moto g stylus 5g)

I was trying to move photos from the album listed camera into folder that I have created specifically for the things in the photo. This is something I do all the time to make sure my photos are organized in a way I can find them. However, now when I try to find these photos after they were moved they're not showing up. I've looked all throughout the phone system and can't find them. When I try to play the video it says it can't find it and when I pull up the pictures it's just a black screen. Does anyone know why this happened or how to fix it? I would really appreciate it if someone had an answer. Thank you

We do understand how important it is to be able to locate and view your photos and videos after moving them to another album on your Moto G Stylus 5G, Crjg22. We are here to help.


If your photos and videos are appearing as a black screen, try restarting your device. This helps refresh you device.


You also want to make sure you have enough storage on your Moto G Stylus 5G to be able to store and view your photos and videos.


View available storage

  1. Swipe down from the Notification bar with two fingers, then select the  Settings icon.
  2. Select Storage. Available storage will be displayed.

Note: If a SD card is not installed, you will automatically be brought to the Internal shared storage screen.


Free up storage

  1. From the Storage screen, select the desired storage location. Navigate to, then select and hold the desired content. Select the  Delete icon.
  2. Select OK to confirm.

In addition, you may also reach out to Motorola for further assistance on how to get your videos and photos to appear on your device.
