Don't you still need that sign-in code to erase the phone even from Find My Device?
Its super frustrating when you're unable to remember the PIN/pattern you created to secure your own Android device, @Akeem_taylor. Thank you @Lizdance40, for bringing up the Android Device Manager (ADM) tool, which Google Play Services equips nearly every modern Android device with the tool. If your device was produced prior to 2013, you can download the ADM via the Play Store and enable it. However, all new devices come with the feature enabled. Double check and make sure that yours is before we move forward. Once you have ensured your GPS services are fully enabled and functional, head into Settings > Google > Security and tap Android Device Manager. From there, make sure you check the boxes named “Remotely locate this device” and “Allow remote lock and factory erase.Next access the Find my Device website to see the Find My Device dashboard. You will see your device then below the erase button. The Erase feature will bypass security pin, reset your device to factory settings. Set your device back up, restore any lost data from backup - then, depending on your device - consider bio-metric security like facial, retinal, or fingerprint recognition. Please give this a try, and post back if you need our help. ThanksKenneth, AT&T Community Specialist

A lock screen means you’ll have to try and remember the code or reset he phone to get back in. Androids vary a little between models on how to do this, but you can usually do an internet search for “hard reset” and your smartphone model to see step by step how to compete this. Be aware, anything not currently backed up will be erased from the phone. You can also visit a local store to get help with this process.

I would also add that if your phone has been automatically backing up data via your Google account, then your pictures, videos, contacts and settings should automatically download to your phone after the reset.

You can also perform a factory reset by booting into recovery. Find the instructions on booting into recovery for your phone model on the internet, then from the recovery choose wipe data/factory reset. Be advised that you will need to sign into your Google account once the recovery is performed to get your phone functional again.
