Oreo 8.0 update has ruined my phone
I have a Samsung galaxy s7, and the newest oreo 8.0 update has virtually ruined it. First off, I can barley sign in to my phone. When I type in my passcode the screen looks like its about to open to the home screen, but it just freezes and a few seconds later turns off. The only way I've been able to sign in to my phone is by going to the emergency call screen, then tapping to add an emergency number, then putting in my passcode. And not even that works all the time. Also, when I'm finally able to acces my phone, whenever I open an app, it's virtually impossible to close it. Then the interface gets all jumbled up and it's difficult to use my phone for anything.There's also a weird vibration that happens every couple of seconds for no reason; it's like my phone has a pulse and it's extremely annoying. Does anyone know how to resolve these issues to make my phone functional again, or will it eventually stop on its own?

Let me get right to it. Here is a tool which will assist you in getting this issue worked out. The tool is called Troubleshoot & resolve. It will test, diagnose, and tailor a solution to your problem. The recommendation for the Android smartphones is after every major update to do a factory reset. I have 4 phone lines on my plan all of which had this same upgrade and are all currently experiencing this exact problem, along consistently dropped calls and losing reception in normal perfect reception areas. Very frustrating and honestly considering taking my business elsewhere. I have contacted customer service twice now about this issue and nothing has changed.

Having tons of issues since update, can't use my gallery as it force closes, can't use my camera it force closes, can't even use my Device Maintance as it force closes. Reception has been constantly dropping, GPS is having issues picking up my location. Tons of issues. How can I fix this so I can get functionality back to my phone.

While not having the same problem as the OP won't doing a factory reset cause you to lose all your personalized settings? Won't this cause you to have to go through and reset everything manually or can you just do a backup, factory reset, and then and restore to get your phone back to your personal settings?
While not having the same problem as the OP Google photos and Samsung Pay keep crashing even when I don't have them open. I'm hoping that an update to 8.0 will fix that problem. It's not so bad that I can't live with it while waiting.Thanks in advance.

Already did a factory data reset and apps like Twitter, Google play store, and a couple of others will open but will not function.
