Oneplus Nord N10 5g connectivity issues

Question: What can be done to get referenced phone, model BE2028, added to AT&T approved list?

Problem: Was working with no issues when ported in to AT&T from Sprint. A few months later phone started having wifi and data connectivity problems (losing wifi signal, dropping calls, going straight to vm, not sending/receiving txts, no 5g ever, etc...).

Background: Phone was working fine on Sprint/Tmobile 5g network. Was contacted in Jan 2022 by AT&T sales rep re: switching carriers, never mentioned an "approved device" list, said all phones should work fine once unlocked. A couple of phones on my plan wouldn't work on AT&T network, still no mention of "approved device" list, even at AT&T stores, so those owners left to get their own plan. My Oneplus phone, ref above, started having connectivity issues and have tried everything except factory reset. Today, I find out there's a list of approved devices.

Please train your salespersons and store reps about the "approved device" list so they can do their jobs better.

Receiving accurate information is important, tharde, even when it comes to being able to use an unlocked phone on the AT&T network.

Thank you for the feedback. First, before you make any changes to your service or phone, we invite you to check out our list of unlocked devices with service capabilities to work on our upgraded network now that the 3G network has been phased out.

Make sure that the exact make and model of your phone is found. Otherwise, you will need to upgrade your phone and/or SIM card by following the steps under We can help upgrade your AT&T Wireless device or Get help upgrading your AT&T PREPAID device (depending on the kind of service you have with AT&T) when you visit Get details on the 3G network shut down.

If your model is found, then follow the recommended steps below Find the model number on your device when you stop by My 3G/4G Phone Is Not Working Anymore - Solutions & Help from the AT&T Community. These instructions can get your device working right away if your unlocked device is supported over our upgraded network.

When it comes to using an unlocked phone on AT&T's network, it may be incompatible due to the different hardware which is not optimized to work on AT&T’s network (HD Voice, VoLTE compatible).

It is up to the manufacturer to submit the device to AT&T for approval so that it can be added to our list of supported phones.

We hope this information helps. Try this and let us know how it goes.

That's up to OnePlus.   They sum it each model for testing to see if it's compatible.
