Not Registered on Network - Samsung Galaxy S21

My phone worked just fine yesterday. Today I can't either send a text or make or receive a phone call.

I have not made any changes. I just get an error that says "Not registered on network - emergency calls only"

How can I fix this?

Please help :-)

Hi @! Let's look into your network error on your device!

If you haven't already please power cycle your device, and reinsert your sim card, this resets your device. Verify your service is active, suspended accounts may lead to no service.

Also, reset your network settings. Go to Settings> General Management > Reset > Reset network settings, this refreshes your network. Lastly, check out our Troubleshoot And Resolve Tool> Fix An Issue > Connection > Call & data quality and Messaging. This will help fix your message and call service.

Let us know if this is helpful! Thank you for reaching out to the community!

Thanks, got it fixed. The problem was with the MyPhone Microsoft app. For some reason the phone and the app were having a problem communicating but I am still not sure why.

Anyway all is well now. And, thank you for your help.

@ATTHelp Does IMS Registration Status appearing as not registered indicate that the network isn't allowing specific features such as VoLTE, VoWifi, Wifi Calling, etc.? And if so, is that something that a representative from the carrier can manually override... or is it the carrier's system not recognizing a device as being compatible with the network...even if the device displays the Mobile Network Voice Type as LTE? Also the device has 4G/LTE activated for calls highlighted or on.

@Flying99 Flying99 - how did you figure out that your myphone app was causing the issue?  I have this issue with my S20 - and have tried everything to fix it.
