No Software updates available for HTC One M9 on Android 5.0
I'm stuck. In order to upgrade from 5.0 to 6.0, my phone should have firmware version 3.38.502.31. My phone still has firmware version 1.32.502.31. I've checked for updates to bring it up to the current version, and there aren't any available to download. What are my options? It seems strange that AT&T has numerous updates for the HTC One M9 since April 2015, and none are avaible for download on my phone. See photos below of current phone software version. All help is appreciated. I'm not sure if I should just bring it in to a store, which is a pain. Thanks.

You can download the update from HTC directly. You will wipe the phone updating.

Yes, I'm using AT&T for service. I was hoping not to have to download from HTC directly becasue it would wipe my phone. It seems that may be the only option, though. Not a great one, espcially as no updates have been pushed to the phone in over a year.

How do I check that? I know what the imei for the phone is, but how do I check that the account has the correct one? Also, does this mean I have to install all of the previous updates separately before going to the new version? I can't jump from 1.32.502.31 (my current version) to the Nov 2016 update 3.38.502.41 can I?

Based on further research I need to install all of the prior updates before installing the current update. AT&T has no idea how to obtain the earlier updates and suggested I contact HTC. HTC tech support suggested downloading from their website. When I mentioned that there have been 8 software updates since 1.32.502.31, they suggested contacting Google because releases are pushed out by them in waves. I give up.
