Mobile phone keeps dropping 4G LTE connection

For the last week and a half, I have been dealing with my phone randomly dropping 4G connection. Sometimes it happens for half the day, sometimes it only happens a few times and on rare days I don't disconnect at all. I have tried every possible fix I could find, but it keeps happening throughout the entire morning and early afternoon, not stopping until some time around 4-6pm.

I live in Puerto Rico and my phone is an LG-K425

We are here to help with your service signal on your LG-k425 @JorgeRivera.

You'll want to reset your network settings to refresh your connection to the network.

  • Settings > General > Reset > Reset network settings

Try running your device through out Troubleshooting Tool. Scroll down to Fix an Issue Connection. Then select which type of connection you are wanting to troubleshoot.

You can check for Outages in your area online. We also suggest using Wi-Fi Calling whenever you are near a Wi-Fi connection to keep you connected for calls and texts.

Let us know if this helps!

I've tried that too, and I've ran the troubleshooter as well. Everything I've tried up until now have just been temporary fixes, and I'm starting to have problems at this hour when it's usually stabilized by now

Thank you for responding @JorgeRivera.

What zip code are you located in? We can check the towers in your area from our end and see if there's an issue there.

If you haven't already, we'd also suggest making sure your device software is updated.

I don't see a chat icon, maybe it's because I'm on the desktop version of the site?

Thanks for your response, @JorgeRivera.

You should still be able to see a chat icon available, if not try accessing from your device.

I still see no chat icon on my screen or on my phone, could I opt for an email instead, or am I missing something?

@JorgeRivera

You do know that AT&T is no longer has a presence in Puerto Rico? You maybe still roaming with AT&T service but a T & T sold out the Liberty and the sale was finalized in October.

Any gaps in service are because you are roaming and is not AT&T is responsibility anymore.   Free roaming is subject to local network restrictions, including 2g data speeds, no matter what plan you have. ( no different than if you were in Mexico or Canada)
