Locating my wife's phone that was stolen

My wife phone was stolen before I got this app so I never got a chance to pair her phone to mine. Is there a way that I can still locate her phone with this app. Thank you

If your wife did not turn on find my phone, and does not know the account that she use and password used to sign in on her phone, there's likely no way to locate her phone

It actually doesn't matter whether you had the app or not

Thanks for reaching out @Rod H , we know how difficult it can be to have a device stolen and we are here to help!

@formerlyknownas is correct that if the device is not paired, we will not be able to use GPS to locate it. You can view our article on location tracking with AT&T Secure Family for more details.

You can follow these additional steps also if you are unable to locate your device:

  • Lock or wipe your device using an activated AT&T or third-party app or add-on that was activated before the device was lost or stolen.
  • Suspend service and block your device from our network if it's stolen.
  • Change your passwords for other accounts on your device. This includes your Apple® ID, Facebook®, and email accounts.
  • Report any credit cards saved on your device as lost.

Thank you for reaching out to AT&T Community Forums!
