LG velvet dual screen

I recently purchased accessory and when plugged into phone, the necessary app won't show up to turn on second screen. What am I to do? I tried filing a claim with LG but my make and model isn't even available to process a claim. I just want it fixed

  • where did you purchase the accessory
  • what specific accessory are you having the error with
  • is your LG velvet/ the accessory still within the buyers' remorse exchange period
  • what do you mean by the make and model, is it for the accessory or the device
