let us use google wallet!

AT&T has gone/invested into another platform called isis witch isn't even fully developed yet and is only available in 2 areas and requires the Merchant to accept isis where as Google wallet just needs any Terminal that has Paypass or some sort of NFC Credit/Debit card Technology.

Think about it when would isis be finished?

and would it even reach your area in the first place right now its available in Salt lake city and Austin

Right now google wallet works everywhere in the U.S that merchants have Paypass or NFC Pay at the terminal.

You basically have to unlock and 'fix' your phone to get NFC payments.

AT&T wants to get a cut of all your NFC payments and they probably won't let this one go. We'll all have to wait for it to fail and watch them give up. Then we might get google wallet.

Too bad they can't actually build a quality feature that we would choose to use.

I miss Cingular.

This is the same company that was Cingular Wireless; they just changed the name to the more recognized name of the old Cingular Wireless' parent company.
