Is there any solution for the QP1507 error on the UVerse App?

I've looked at all the posts regarding QP1507 and there doesn't appear to be a real solution.  I have a new, non-rooted LG G5.   I've followed all the suggestions identified, reinstall, clear cache/data, close all apps, etc. but that's more of a generic catch-all when the solution is not really known.  Is there a fix or should I just give up trying to make this app stream video?
