I have a ZTE Z998 and can take photos but can't retreive or send them.
After I take a photo, it shows up in the little preview window in the lower left and I can open it from there, but that is all I can do--I can see the properties. If I try to forward it as an MMS the receiver gets nothing. If I try to email it, the attachment comes over but when I try to open it, it says the format is bad of the attachment is corrupted.
If I open the photo (s) up within the Photos app or Images, there are only grey boxes with nothing to see. If you click on one, it says "No Thumbnail". If I go through the file menu, I can see the listing for the picture with the same properties as the picture, but if I try to open it I again get "No Thumbnail."
I had the same problem with the 4 GB Micro SD card that came with the camera so I ordered a larger one and it still has the problem.
Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks for posting. Are you still having trouble retrieving and sending pictures? If so, have you tried a soft reset of the device and/or updating the device software?
