I cannot get the phone to work because of the sim card

Well since you've provided zero information on what phone, and 

if you have activated the new sim card with a new phone number or the old phone number and paid for service, how are we suppose to advise?

Sorry  about that didn't mean to hit the post button it's a s23ultra I bought it at a wholesale place it's not a samsung the phone is unlocked the sim card was brand new with a new number I just put my wife's sim to make sure it worked before buying the sim and stuff and it did worked good but didn't with the new one also tried a TMobile one today it works?
