Huawei phone compatibility

I have a Huawei P30pro. I want to join an AT&T prepaid plan ( BYOP). Does you network support Huawei P30 pro (unlocked)?

@Zhong Your phone is not compatible with ATT’s network. The only Huawei phones ATT supports are these models:
• Ascend XT2 (H1711)
• AscendXT(H1711)

@dbqer There is no unlocking the phone’s VoLTE capability. A phone is either on ATT’s supported phones list or it isn’t. If you have a phone not on the list, it won’t work after February, 2022, maybe sooner. Here is the list:

You will want to do some research like I'm doing now to unlock the phones VOLTE capabilities. Otherwise once AT&T shutdown the 3G network in February 2022 it will no longer work with AT&T. I'm currently looking at other carriers to go with also. 20 plus years as a AT&T customer and they are forcing me out as a customer

We're sorry to hear that you feel that way @dbqer!

We're shutting down our 3G network in order to invest more in providing our customers the best 4G and 5G coverage possible. However, you do have the option to trade in your old device and use that money for a new device.

If this seems like an option you'd like to learn more about, please let us know and we'll be delighted to provide further guidance. Thanks for reaching out to our team.

You're not getting it, @ATTHelp. There's a reason why we have a Huawei device - we want to.

If you value us as customers, stop recommending that we buy a locked device from you and help us continue using one of Huawei's newer phones on your network.

@JimmyMTX

ATT is following the the no Huawei order a little to close but its not about that really.

ATT needs to certify the phones for use and well the US Gov made that impossible,

@Constructive

that would be FALSE.  Sorry to have to correct you.  T-Mobile gives almost all newer phones VoLTE and these are some of them.  I have a p40 pro that works just fine on T-Mobile.
