how to unlock my samsung galaxy s7 edge

paid off my phone, waited a week, then submitted an unlock request.. gonna stay with ATT but want to be able to  go to England and  buy a sim card and use it for the 3 weeks I will be there.. will be back with att after 3 weeks.

got the unlock request approved, and received the code with instructions via email.

instructions state "remove battery" and replace with non ATT sim card.... can't remove battery from my S7 Edge and don't have NON att sim card.

 how do I unlock phone?.

I did what was suggested and it said my phone was unlocked. I tried making a call with it but a box keeps coming up that says "emergency calls only". Now what?

I did this secret code method and it says unlocked but when I try to make a call, a box comes up saying, "emergency calls only" and will not allow me call.

Actually it is now saying "Mobile network not available"  but the sim card is active in my Samsung Note 9 but won't work in the S7 Edge.

I have unlocked Samsung Galaxy S7 using these steps.

1. From the keypad on your phone Dial #06# and you will get the IMEI number sent to you.

2. On the computer go to the third party website, select the model number for your phone.

3. Input the phones IMEI number.

4. DirectUnlock requires payment information because it is not free in any way

5. Once they send you SIM unlocking code, only then you are able to change the SIM card.

6. When you are prompted “SIM unlock code ” pops up, then input the number that was sent to you.

7. A valid email address is needed in order to receive the unlock code for Samsung.

Follow these steps and you will able to unlock it very easily.
