How to access the place on Alcatel 5003r where you can check unlock status

I have no idea how to access the section of the phone where sim lock and other info for carrier unlock. Att says this device has built in unlock featurel

Hey there @Unclepops, we'd love to help you with checking your device unlock status for your Alacatel 5002R.

Please be advised, select AT&T PREPAID Android smartphones have a pre-loaded app to request an unlock right from the device. (The app is named under Device Unlock.)

If all device unlock requirements have been met, the device wil be unlocked.
Requires 6 months active service.
- Can't be reported lost/stolen or involved in fraud.
The app is pre-loaded on all Android AT&T PREPAID devices sold in AT&T branded packaging (since June 8, 2019). (It is not available in app stores.)

AT&T PREPAID customers with the pre-loaded app:

- Simply open the app, click Unlock, and follow the prompts.
- You can only unlock your device via a request from the app.

If you're unable to access the app, you may try to submit your request online:

Go to att.com/deviceunlock.
Select Unlock your device and follow the prompts.

To check the status of your online request, you'll need to proceed with the following:

Check your email (including spam or junk folders) or text messages for updates on your request. If you don't have a wireless phone account, you have to select Confirm request on the email we sent you.
Go to to our device unlock portal and follow the prompts to check the status of your request.

Once your request is approved, check your text messages or email for instructions and an unlock code. We'd advise for you to review this information and give it a try to let us know how this worked for you.

Hi Unclepops, let's get you pointed in the right direction to get the SIM lock and information for the carrier unlock.

Get the information needed to request the unlock of your phone by following these instructions.

1. Swipe down from the Notification bar with two fingers, then select the Settings icon.

2. Scroll to and select About phone. The Phone number and IMEI will be displayed.

Note: You can also view your IMEI by entering *#06#.
