The latest software version released for the Galaxy S5 is Android 6.0.1. With Android 8 being the latest version out, I do not believe Android 7 will be released for this device. I do apologize for any inconvenience this has caused.

It's such (Edited per community guidelines) that they won't provide and update to Android 7.0 for this phone! It makes me really angry!! They could at least let us do it manually or something it's just plain ridiculous all cuz they want us to buy newer more expensive phone

Samsung has officially stopped providing support for the Galaxy S5. Marshmallow is the last operating system update for the phone.
