Hello @Chelsea.marie!

This is definitely a concerning message to receive on your tablet, particularly when completing an update.  I would be more than happy to help research this, and get it resolved.

The first thing we will want to check is how long this message has been showing on the phone.  Sometimes, it will time out and not reset the device.  In this case, we will want to restart the tablet.

If pressing and holding the power button does not reboot the tablet as normal, we will want to use the force restart option.  After unplugging the tablet, please press and hold the Power and Volume Down buttons together for about 15-20 seconds.

You will see the logo come up as the device reboots.  The download should finish up and then install, or you could see the main screen.  If the software update does not automatically begin again, you can prompt it by accessing the settings.

The Device Support Center for your tablet has great walkthroughs and guides for many options in your phone.  After reaching the page, please select the G Pad F 8.0 and then choose Tutorials > System & storage > Software Update.

Please let me know if this helps.  Have a wonderful week!

Thank you sooo much, I was having such a huge problem with the Firmware update, it just randomly appeared and thanks to you guys it fixed. I was looking everywhere for how to turn it off, but all I could find was how to turn it on.
