Frozen in att logo screen

Lgk10 phone died during an android update and now gets frozen on att logo screen. Soft reset did not reset and phone got stuck on logo screen . Phone will not power off with power button. And could not go through a hard reset.

Thanks for reaching out! We'd love to assist.

At this point, we recommend trying to boot your device up in safe mode. You can access this by pressing and holding the power button. Next, you'll want to tap and hold Power off. You will then see a prompt for Restart in Safe Mode. Tap OK. See if your device is able to boot up through this method. If it does, there may be an app causing the issue.

Thank you for the reply. This did not resolve the issue. It will not power off manually with the power button and the only way to power off is to remove the battery, and then when it restarts it gets stuck at logo. I upgraded my phone and that helped a lot---LOL. Anyway, the old phone is on the way back to att. thanks again.
