Ever since 4.4.4 email not working and battery drains super fast
Ever since 4.4.4 rolled out my email has stopped working. Also my battery life has gone down as this app is using it up!! I can not uninstall and reinstall as this app is one of the many apps that I am not allowed to delete ....Has any one else had this issue ? If so is there a fix? This has made it very hard for me as I have come to depend on my phone for many things for work. I am ready to throw this thing out!! Some one please help

You'll need to re-set up the email accounts, but this should work
Settings/Apps/Running apps or All Apps/Email (and/or GMail if that's the email app you're using)
You want to force stop, then clear data, clear cache.
Then restart phone. Add your email accounts again.
