Either my phone's microphone is broken or the towers are unable to transmit my phone calls for others to hear me properly.

When I make out-bound calls people on the other line can barely hear me and sometimes cannot hear me at all.

We can definitely help you with call quality, @panzerkaserne1985.

Low call volume can be very annoying and sometimes be easily resolved. Do you notice it on both inbound and outbound calls? How about while using speakerphone? Do you have Bluetooth enabled? Is it happening at home, and while your out and about?

You can first test your microphone using the built in Voice Recorder app. If your device is using Android 10, you can record a audio message using the Messaging app. These two options are very easy ways to determine if its a hardware issue.

If the problem continues, check your Bluetooth settings, or Sign in to the AT&T Troubleshoot & Resolve tool so we can run tests to check the settings for you. Give it a try, and post back to let us know what you find. Thank you!

I tried the voice recorder and it sounded a little bit or quite rather significantly quiet.  I've run in to this problem before.  If one barely drops a LG brand phone this happens.  Last time I could still use the phone on speaker this time regular talk nor speaker seem to be working.

Hi @panzerkaserne1985,

Thank you for letting us know.

What device are you using specifically? You mentioned you've experienced this before; how was the issue resolved that time? It is possible that your phone is damaged. If you have our Device Protection, you can submit a claim now.

We look forward to your response!
