Downloading apps blocked by parental controls

I'm trying to download an app directly from a website. But I get a message that says the app can't download due to parental controls. I am the account holder and shouldn't have any parental controls set on my phone.

Hi there @MamaWhite

There may be parental controls currently in effect on your Google Account.

  • Open the Play Store app on your Android device.
  • In the top left corner, touch Menu > Settings > Parental controls.
  • Turn Parental controls Off.

I hope this helps!

Sounds like a quick call in to 611 should get that sorted out.

That is exactly what the AT&T rep said too, when I called them today. I did that and sure enough that's where the problem was. Thanks for responding and helping me out, I really appreciate it!
