Download android app for my phone.

I am using an android phone and I want to download applications for it outside of the play store. Where can I download and install? Can I download on aptoide store?

From Android 8 and forward, there is no longer a setting to allow the broad installation of apps from "Unknown sources,"  although one might be able to download and install an APK on a per app basis.

Hello @delmob,

We'd be more than happy to take a closer look into your inquiry.

Please provide us with a few more details, so that we can better assist you:

  • Which Android cell phone model are you currently using?
  • Are there any specific applications that you are currently trying to download?
  • If so, are they not currently available in the Google Play store, or is there a different reason that you're not wanting to download them from the Google Play store?

Please let us know.

We look forward to hearing back from you soon.
