Device unlock: Looks like the IMEI number you entered doesn’t match an AT&T device

I just purchased a Samsung Galaxy S9+, paid in full and I would like to have it unlocked. But when I went to https://www.att.com/deviceunlock/#/ to request unlock code,  I was told that Looks like the IMEI number you entered doesn’t match an AT&T device. Please help!

I also having the same problem, my iPhone is eligible to unlock but ATT online page saying this error "Looks like the IMEI number you entered doesn’t match an AT&T device". please help me

Hello I am having the same exact issue, but with a S9. Can you assist? I cannot call because i do not have a sim because of this issue...
