"Call app has stopped working

Alcatel idealxcite/ cameox 5044r Android 7.0 my "call" has stopped. I can't call out unless I go into my contacts find the person I am trying to call and press their number, then immediately I get this message " Call app has stopped working" I can't find out who has called me or what calls I have missed. Does anyone know how to fix this? And my software just updated....no error code there.

Welcome to the Community Forums! This is an interesting issue, but I can definitely look into it for you.


When did you first notice the issue? Were any apps downloaded or settings changed when it started? Once I have this information, I will be able to better locate the root of the issue.


In the meantime, try resetting your network settings. This way, your device can refresh its connection to our services. You can do this by going to Settings > Backup & reset > Reset Network Settings.
