at&t mobile transfer

I have recently bought a new device, and I have repeated atleast twice to do the mobile transfer, but it wont continue to let me set my phone up. it just gets stuck trying to make me redo my same process with the mobile transfer. how do i get passed this process to finish setting up my device?

Does the new device have sufficient storage to take all of your old devices data?
If your old device is backed up to your Google account, you do not need Mobile Transfer you can just sign into the new device and set it up with Google
