Active Armor stops blocking calls

Just an observation. Active Armor is installed on my S24, and it works and blocks calls but at some point it seems to perhaps no longer be running and therefore not blocking calls and I have to relaunch it from my phone and then it works again. Is the app somehow going into a sleep mode or does it stop running at some point?

Let's start with few questions: Is your device on battery saver mode? When it is in battery saver mode the device optimizes and closes all background running apps.
Is your app up-to date?

Have you tried checking out app restrictions on your phone?

Thanks for the suggestions. Power save is not on but I did make sure that both Call Protect and Active Armor never go to sleep and the permissions look good too. Will see if this helps out with the problem.
