Wil the AT&T prepaid Esim work in my European Iphone 14 pro max (unlocked)?
I have a European Iphone 14 pro max and a dutch fysical SIM. Because I live half in the US I need a US Esim. Wil it work in my European (unlocked) Iphone? Verizon does not work because it use CDMA they told me. How is it with AT&T?

Yes, the European iphone 14 will work on ATT. Also, whoever told you it wouldn’t work on Verizon is wrong. They shut down their CDMA network long ago.

Thank you for your reply. Online you can check on their site by checking the IMEI of my iPhone; it says it is not compatible. And after visiting the store it shows also when trying to switch that my brand new unlocked iPhone is not compatible with Verizon? The salesman told it is about the CDMA but besides his explanation Verizon's website and the system refused my Iphone.
I have another question; how do you know it will work; do you have experience with this? In the store, they cannot ensure me it will work. Their advice was to buy a plan (no refund possible) and probably it will work. But if not; bad luck. So they tell me to spend 50 dollars just to find out without any guarantee or refund.

I do not have experience but I have seen multiple posts from customers with European iphone models that have no issue on ATT.

Hey there WvB, we want to engage with you further and provide you with more facts about the compatibility of your European device.
Be advised, you'll need to make sure your phone device model is listed on our list of approved devices. This will determine if your device is eligible for use or not on the AT&T network.
We hope this provides clarity to your question and thanks for reaching out to the AT&T Community Forums.

There is no way the imei on a new iPhone is refused by any US network. IPhone is a universal device. Did you run the physical sin imei?

Re verizon is just like At&t now. CDMA was a 2g and 3g technology which is no longer relevant.
All US networks are LTE networks.
Verizon shut off it's 3G (CDMA) network at the end of December. AT&T Sunset it's 3g Network starting in February and completing in August. T-Mobile Sunset it's 3G network between June and August.
