What can I do to avoid a closure of my PREPAID account so I don't lose my number?

I'm an international student and I have gone back to my home country because of the recent corona-virus pandemic. I have disabled autopay and haven't paid for a new cycle. I was on the $65 plan with autopay and I wish to continue the same when I come back after 6 months, in September/October.

What can I do to avoid a closure of the account and I also don't want to lose my number.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Since access is blocked purposely from access, you will have to call the AT&T number for international travel, which you can find in the contact us Link at the bottom of the webpage. Ask them to move you to a pay-per-use plan and refill with $100 one time payment. A $100 one-time refill will hold your account open for 365 days and the funds will be available in your account to use for a monthly service when you return
