Unable to join Multi-Line account

I accidentally created a multi-line account and then changed back to a single line. Now I want to join a friend's multi-line but it says :

Looks like you have already created or joined a Multi-Line account in the past 30 days, please wait and try again. Visit HERE for more information.


I already have the invitation from my friend but am unable to accept it. Can I do it before the 30 days get over? If not, what will happen to the payment I've made for the next month if I join a multi-line 3-4 days after the next month starts?
