Unable to create account/unable to activate loop

hi! I messed up spectacularly by purchasing a prepaid AT&T sim card under my current number, with the intent of replacing my current carrier (T-Mobile). the oopsie part is I did not create an AT&T Prepaid account while doing so and apparently (because T-Mobile doesn't specify on their website!) gave the wrong T-Mobile account number. thus I cannot fix the information to port over my T-Mobile account because I can't log in, and I can't log in because my account isn't active, and my account isn't active because I can't activate my sim card without screwing up the port from T-mobile, and...

my current plan is to call the -288-2020 customer service number when the office is again open/when my non-vaccine clinic schedule coincides. but if you have any ideas beyond that, anything that might get me out of this loop, please comment!

1.  AT&T prepaid activation creates your account for you on the paygonline website.  You will not use myATT or create an account. 

2.   You can activate the SIM card with whatever number is assigned randomly and then call AT&T and request your number be ported from T-Mobile.  You have 30 days to do a port over for free.

call 866 975 0050 to activate via phone, or request port help
