Trying to reactivate phone that has not been used in 2 yrs
No longer has previous # although new sim card was put in and prepaid card was accepted. Was hung up on 3 Xs by customer service and cannot find a way of getting problem resolved. Can't get an account without a ph#.....suggestions?

The process of activating the new SIM card and paying for service would have assigned you a random new phone number. It also would have instructed you to select an alphanumeric password and a PIN code. Prepaid card would have been used to pay for a service plan, minimum service plan is $30. Any of this sound familiar?
Also check the phone. It may have been viable on AT&T 2 years ago but may not be anymore

Was your SIM card (with the new number) active before you put it in this phone?
