Transferred to different carrier, but at&t charged my credit card again
I transferred my number and two other numbers in the same acct to a different carrier on 10/23/2022.
However, At&T charged my credit card again on 10/27/2022. It is currently in pending status.
I called a 1-800 number for prepaid, but the number doesn't allow me to talk to a live representative. I called other at&t help lines, but every representative transfer me to the the first number which is no help at all.
Why did att charged me even after thr disconnection of their service? Who should I talk to about this matter?

The only reason I can think of is if your port didn’t complete. It can take a day or two for a port to complete, very unusual for it to take 4 days but not unheard of. You need to wait until the charge becomes an actual charge. A pending charge could drop off. If it doesn’t, file an FCC or BBB complaint to escalate to corporate or dispute the charge with your credit card. By the way, every prepaid number is a separate account, it’s not possible all three were on the same account. You may have had one account paying for all lines but they are still separate accounts.

Thank you for your advice. I'll wait to see what happens to the pending charge.
