Suspend account while abroad
I am an international student and have an AT&T prepaid account. However, in light of COVID-19 I had to return home unexpectedly. I am now trying to suspend my account so I don't get charged for not using the SIM, but can't log in to an account because I never made one until now and cannot get reception here to get the required OTP to log in.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

You do not want to suspend. Suspending service does not stop autopay. What you want to do is stop autopay. Unfortunately, account access is blocked from most locations outside of the US. Your only options to stop autopay without account access are to call the international support number or cancel your credit or debit card that is used for autopay. Just be aware that if you just stop paying, a prepaid account is automatically closed if the account balance is $0 for more than 60 days. If you want to keep your account open and keep our number, you either need to keep paying or switch to a pay per use plan and refill your account sufficiently to keep it open until you return.
