Sim card not activated

I ordered a new sim card 13 days ago for my number (Edited as per community guidelines). I received my sim card 9 days ago but my card is still not activated. I tried calling customer service but they keep on transferring my calls and in the end, they told me to visit nearby store. All frustrated, I went to the nearby AT&T store 4 days back, the first thing they told me that you should call customer service, we cannot help you. But eventually, they tried resolving the issue but could not. I tried resolving the issue online but it says your sim card is active. I paid the whole year amount of 300 USD for a year. I'm very much irritated and frustrated with the services. Please help me resolve the issue. I tried everything I could to resolve the issue.

We want to look into helping you activate your recently received SIM card. We want to know more about your experience.

  • What happens after you insert your SIM card into your device now that you've visited the AT&T Activate your AT&T PREPAID?
    • Do you receive a message on your device notifying you of its activation?
    • After inserting your card does your phone receive a signal? If so, is the signal poor or strong?
  • Did you contact AT&T PREPAID at 800.901.9878 rather than the usual Wireless support number at 800.331.0500?

With more information we can get closer to reaching a resolution.
