Prepaid sim
I am travelling in the US
got a AT&T prepaid Sim , I activated the card online and rebooted the phone but no service it shows SOS only. There’s no phone service or data.
I have an iPhone 12 Pro.
can anyone help?

Are you sure the SIM card is activated? Was a phone number assigned? Have you purchased a plan?

It shouldn't be a phone problem, if you have activated the SIM card, selected a plan, set up your password and passcode the last step is to pay for service. Have you paid for service in order to use your phone?

Hey there Helenk325, we want to help you use your prepaid SIM card.
Our ACEs sandblaster and formerlyknownas make a great point, do you have a PREPAID plan and have you already paid for service? Even if you have an active SIM card, you'll need an active PREPAID plan in order to use service.
Keep in mind that with PREPAID, you need to make payments before you can have service, instead of being billed afterwards.
