Prepaid line usage abroad
Greetings,
I have an At&t prepaid line which I purcahsed back in October 2017 when I was in the US. I reside in Turkey and kept using that line’s whatsapp on my iphone which I also bought together with the at&t line in 2017. Now I own a new phone and want to transfer my at&t phone line’s whatsapp to the new iphone. Does my prepaid line receive sms messages abroad here in Turkey? If not, is there a way to enable that line for abroad usage?

No. Prepaid service does not roam internationally except Canada and Mexico. Even if it did, unless you have continued to pay for it, your prepaid account was cancelled long ago. Your number likely belongs to someone else now. You have just been lucky that whoever has it doesn’t use WhatsApp.
