Prepaid: Esim active and still can’t use my phone

I have a brand new iphone14plus. I transferred to  AT&T prepaid and did the whole year for $300. That’s fine and it says my old phone will work until my new one starts. It doesn’t. I’m currently on day 3 without a phone. It says my Esim is activated and the only reason I got the Esim is because I paid for my plan. My phone says it’s connected to the network, but I am unable to call or message and I can’t make an account because it says my phone number is inactive. I can’t go in store because my entire family(myself included) are incredibly sick. All I want is to use my phone and I have already called and that got me nowhere. Help, please!

It sounds like maybe your phone number was not ported from a previous carrier?  

Call PAC (Port Activation Center) at 888.898.7685

They will want the order number for your $300 purchase - have it handy
