No. You can port at anytime.

There's no restriction on porting your phone number out, you can do so at any time. However if you purchased a phone from AT&T it is locked until you have completed 6 months of prepaid service. And you should also make sure that you are leaving at the end of a 30-day cycle because there is no prorations or refunds of any kind on AT&T prepaid.
